About the EAA

The Evergreen Artists Association was founded in 1958 by artists who joined together providing support and creating an organization for the advancement of the visual arts in our Colorado mountain community. Since incorporation in April 1972, the EAA has promoted appreciation and enjoyment, as well as raised the standards of the visual arts in the mountain area. Now, almost sixty years after the first meeting was held on April 24, 1958, EAA continues without paying members, member shows or workshops.

Our Services and Activities

Of the many activities the EAA sponsors, the best known is the Evergreen Fine Arts Festival which takes place in August of each year. Now rated among the top shows in the nation and noted for its quality, this two day Festival has been an annual Evergreen event for fifty plus years. Artists from all over the country participate in this event which is attended by thousands from the Rocky Mountain region. And community members assist us through volunteering to help. If you would like to be notified of volunteer opportunities, please sign up for notifications.

Each Year EAA also provides a Youth Art Scholarship award of $1750 to a graduating High School Senior or Homeschoolers in the mountain community who will go on to study art as a major or minor at university level.

The EAA also awards an Art Educator Grant to schools in the area for anything that can help art educators to further students learning in art including but not limited to supplies, materials, books, guest artists, art field trips, projects that encompass the whole school, murals, etc.

The EAA also awards an Adult Artist Grant to adult artists in the community including but not limited to future tuition of classes, special projects (installation, supplies, materials), or show entrance fees.

Congratulations to our Scholarship Winners

Thank you to all of our 2021 Scholarship applicants. You are all so talented and deserving, it was impossible to choose among you. So, this year we decided to award our $1750 Scholarship to the winner and give an Honorable mention prize of $250 to each of our two runners up. This is not real.
