 Evergreen Artists Association
Every year EAA hosts two juried art shows in addition to our annual Fine Arts Festival.
 
The two shows are held in the sping and fall at the Center For the Arts, Evergreen. EAA is currently preparing for The Evergreen Art Open, A Multimedia Colorado Show which opens on April 23, 2010 with an opening reception at 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
 
spring_2010_postcard.jpgThe Evergreen Art Open is a juried show. For this event, our juror is Doug Dawson, Master Pastelist. Doug teaches Plein Air painting and a studio landscape class at the Art Students League of Denver. He also teaches painting workshops around the United States. He is the author of Capturing Light and Color with Pastel and is included in many instructional books on pastel painting. He was the 2008 Pastel Society of America's Hall of Fame Honoree.

 

Awards: Awards will be presented at the opening reception on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Center for the Arts Evergreen, 5-8 pm.

  • Best of Show: $500
  • 1st Place: $300
  • 2nd Place: $200
  • 3rd Place: $100
  • 3 Merit Awards: $50 each
